How to search on google exactly?

We all know the fact that 'Google' is the best search engine till date and we often search in google in the same technique/way we think in our mind. Yes, Google has made its system so advanced that whatever we search it corrects and provides us the required results. But, sometimes due to the word placement errors while searching, we are unable to get the exact required results.
Let us know some tips and tricks for a Google Search.


1. Symbol '+'
    Search for Google+ pages or blood types    Examples: +Chrome or  AB+


2. Symbol: '@'     
    Find social tags Example: @agoogler


3. Symbol: '#'    
    Find popular hashtags for trending topics    Example: #throwbackthursday


4. Symbol: '*'
   Add an asterisk as a placeholder for any unknown or wildcard terms.                  Example: "a * saved is a * earned"


5.Symbol: '..'
   Separate numbers by two periods without spaces to see results that contain       numbers in a range.    Example: camera $50..$100



Searching the operators


1. 'site:'
    Get results from certain sites or domains.     Examples: olympics site:nbc.com and olympics site:.gov


2. 'related:'
    Find sites that are similar to a web address you already know.                           Example: related:time.com


3. 'OR'
     Find pages that might use one of the several words. Example: marathon OR race


4. 'info:'
    Get information about a web address, including the cached version of the          page, similar pages, and pages that link to the site. Example: info:google.com


5. 'cache:'
    See what a page looks like the last time Google visited the site.                         Example: cache:washington.edu



We can also search as follows:


1. 'Enter your keyword:pdf'
    
    Example: 'How to blog:pdf'
    The symbol ':pdf' provides the pdf files which you can simply download.
    You can use symbols such as ':word' , ':ppt' , etc.

2. You can search the synonyms and meanings as: 'Your Keyword:meaning'

3. For a definition, you can search as: 'define:blog'

4. If you have forgotten a word in a sentence then you can search as:
    'when I * you again'.

5. You can make google a calculator. Search: '9.2342*103'.

6. Make Google a timer. Search: '30 min timer'.

7. Calculate your tip.Search: 'Tip Calculator'

8. Search your whether as: 'weather kathmandu'

9. You can search flight statuses as: 'flight status: BA 181'

10. Compare anything: 'boy vs girl'

11. Make a translate: 'Translate English to Nepali'

12. Search any phone number to get phonebook feature: '98XXXXXXXXX'

13. Search words in the URL: 'Google.com:blog'
